Maxime Valencik is a passionate Aerospace Engineer with over 15 years of professional experience spanning from Air Traffic Control, Airport/Spaceport Planning, Aerospace Engineering, and Project Management. He is currently serving as an Engineering Operations Lead on the team for Blue Origin's Transporter Cislunar Spacecraft. With a robust educational foundation, including an MS in Space Systems from Florida Institute of Technology, an MS in Civil Engineering from Ohio University, and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from ENAC in France, Maxime is currently pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering at Mississippi State University.
Maxime started his career as an Air Traffic Controller in France before moving to the US, where he worked as an Aviation Consultant managing Airport and Spaceport Planning projects. Since joining Blue Origin in 2023, Maxime has advanced from his initial position as the Operation Program Manager for the MK1 Lunar Lander to take on responsibilities with the Transporter Vehicle, where he manages engineering design efforts for three teams, including Flight Software, Avionics, and GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control).
